Zephyrhills (Fla.) Five-Star Plus+ cornerback and LSU commit DJ Pickett has locked in his visit to Gainesville for Florida’s season-opening game against Miami this weekend with his father, and they will be in attendance to support a Hurricane. Read about that.
Also attending the game is Marianna (Fla.) four-star 2026 running back Amari Clemons. He is feeling plenty of love from Miami and Florida and updates his status.
Another 4-star that will be on hand that we catch up with is Tampa (Fla.) Tampa Bay Tech running back Javari Barnett. He’s serious about the Canes and Gators, so the outcome of this game could make an impact.

To me the most hate needs to be directed at the Gators. Plus my recollections of their fans at our games are not pleasant.
