WHAT’S UP TODAY

First up this morning in your Miami Hurricanes news?

We’ve got your breakdown of what the Canes are up against tomorrow with Ball State coming to town. Is there anything that can cause some issues for UM? Also get WR Xavier Restrepo’s thoughts on this offense, and find out what Ball State coahc Mike Neu is saying about his team’s challenge in facing Miami. Plus coach Mario Cristobal shares his thoughts looking back at the last game and forward to this one.

In recruiting?

Don’t miss our mock recruiting class with a current best guess at what it will look like when things shake out in a few months.

A huge visitor? Well, less than a week ago the Miami Hurricanes offered the No. 1 interior offensive lineman in the country, according to On3, Michael Carroll. And this Saturday the IMG Academy prospect will be in South Florida for the Canes matchup against Ball State.

Another key visitor will be Carroll’s teammate, IMG Academy 2026 offensive tackle Keenyi Pepe. And Miami is standing out early to the No. 54 overall prospect and No. 7 offensive tackle in the class. Find out his take.

We also have an update with Oradell (N.J.) Bergen Catholic 2026 four-star defensive lineman Jermaine Kinsler, the younger brother of current Miami offensive lineman and 2023 signee Tommy Kinsler. Find out where things stand there.

And, as always, stay tuned today for any news that may come up.

MESSAGE BOARD POST OF THE DAY

Looking at the current college landscape there is a GREAT opportunity for Miami to move into ELITE status … Posted by PH1LLY

With Saban retiring and Clemson Slipping
There looks to be a gap or opening for Miami to move into the upper echelon of the elite.
Ohio St has recruited great but have fallen short of expectations with Day
UGA is still UGA
Texas under Sark is making its case
FSU like I predicted is where they are.
FLA sucks and will prob be replacing their coach
Mich is going to be trash
LSU is suspect
definitely a great opportunity for Miami to finally make this the All Canes Conference and to be among the top 3-5 programs in college football and be the “IT” team in the state of FLA.
not trying to jump too far
Just recognizing the great opportunity

MIAMI HURRICANES QUOTE OF THE DAY

“We must do a better job of getting the other part of the roster ready to play right now. It’s a transient type business, nowadays. You have to get guys ready to play because there are injures, the seasons are longer and not everyone sticks around forever.”
