WHAT’S UP TODAY

First up this morning in your Miami Hurricanes news?

If you missed The Lamar Thomas Show, it’s not too late to tune in! There’s also our weekly U Bet CaneSport with Lee Sterling breaking down Miami-USF odds and other top games.

Also be sure to check out what Cam Ward and other players were saying after practice as the team continues to ramp up preparations for this weekend’s game at USF.

This morning we take a closer look at just what Miami’s up against in a Bulls team that has some talent on both sides of the line. So don’t miss that.

In recruiting? There was our weekly “tracking the commits” feature with stats and video to check out. Plus don’t miss our feature on the 10 most wanted recruits Miami’s after that aren’t committed to UM … yet.

And Miami (Fla.) Central four-star defensive back Amari Wallace feels good about his commitment to the Hurricanes, and we have the latest there.

Tyrone (Ga.) Sandy Creek four-star 2026 running back Amari Latimer initially hoped to visit Miami this spring or summer, but since he wasn’t able to visit earlier this year, the No. 201 overall prospect instead locked in a visit for the Hurricanes’ Sept. 27 game against Virginia Tech. Check out that news.

Plus we catch up with Bogart (Ga.) North Oconee 2026 athlete Khamari Brooks, who recently landed a Miami offer and has seen his recruitment stock continue to rise during the opening weeks of his junior season. Find out his thoughts.

And, as always, stay tuned today for any news that may come up.

MESSAGE BOARD POST OF THE DAY

Lets Enjoy every single week of this regardless of opponent … Posted by Jarrett33

We wait for the other 9 months of the year for these 3 months so soak it all in and enjoy every week, especially when we are kicking tail… and just like that the regular season is 25% completed, This week we go 1-0 at USF, thats it, if team keeps doing that then everything will take care of itself.

MIAMI HURRICANES QUOTE OF THE DAY

“They’re trying to get their freshmen’s feet wet no matter what. I like how Miami has played every freshman and given everybody a shot, because at the end of the day, how can we put you on the field if we don’t trust you? So I feel like whatever freshmen were in (Saturday), they were in because the coaches trusted them on the field.”
