WHAT’S UP TODAY

First up this morning in your Miami Hurricanes news?

Be sure to check out what Mario Cristobal and LB Francisco Mauigoa have to say as Miami has its hands full trying to shut down a strong USF rushing attack tomorrow night. We also have a closer look from the other sideline with Bulls coach Alex Golesh and his players sharing their take.

In recruiting?

We catch up with commit Malachi Toney for an inside look at his decision to reclassify to this year’s class.

When the Miami Hurricanes offered Midland (Texas) 2026 offensive lineman Pulelei’ite Primus, the news surprised the rising talent, who was on his way to his high school football game. Find out where things stand there.

Plus we catch up with Bowdon (Ga.) four-star 2026 tight end Kaiden Prothro. He has already proven himself as one of the top prospects in next year’s class, and a bounty of programs are prioritizing him early — including Miami.

And, as always, stay tuned today for any news that may come up.

MESSAGE BOARD POST OF THE DAY

I was going to write a concern about our Rushing game but then I looked at stats … Posted by HJ Cane

Overall better than I thought

We are 102 carries for 612 yards and an overall avg per rush of 6.0 yards.

I really didn’t think the numbers were that good.

Still think this area can improve although we are down 2 starters on the line

“Miami is nice, and I have some family out there, and it’s a great program. They have some guys that were greats in the NFL like Ray Lewis and Ed Reed and so on. I know they are a good school, and they’re hot right now with Cam Ward transferring in, and I like what they’re doing over there a lot.”
