WHAT’S UP TODAY
First up this morning in your Miami Hurricanes news?
We have a bunch of recruiting news on deck, with a handful of updates on Miami priority targets, including one on former four-star Michigan State commit Jamari Howard, who recently decommitted from the Spartans. He breaks-down where things stand with Miami and his relationship with Hurricanes analyst Benedick Hyppolite.
The Hurricanes are also making nice progress with Bryant (Ark.) three-star DL TJ Lindsey, who locked in an official visit after his unofficial this past weekend.
Also, Miami is continuing to aggressively pursue Rockledge (Fla.) 2024 four-star safety Jaylen Heyward, who committed to Georgia in January, and the Hurricanes are taking encouraging steps in the right direction after getting him on campus once again this weekend.
Plus, we have an update on Palm Beach Gardens (Fla.) 2024 three-star cornerback Ricky Knight III, who has official visits set to both Miami and Florida State this summer, but the Hurricanes are now making a slightly stronger effort than FSU to land the 6-foot-1, 167-pound cornerback.

After first visiting Coral Gables in March for Miami’s junior day, 2024 Duncanville (Tex.) defensive lineman Alex January will be making his return to South Florida in June for an official visit with the Miami Hurricanes, and he breaks down where things stand with the ‘Canes, who are one of his top schools.
Also, Riverhead (N.Y.) St. Anthony’s four-star tight end KJ Duff has cut his top schools down to seven and included the Miami Hurricanes, so make sure to check out what he had to say.
Additionally, CaneSport is breaking down the top 50 post-spring players on the roster, a list that doesn’t include any post-spring roster additions. Today we analyze No. 38, Jacurri Brown.
And, as always, stay tuned today for any news that may come up.

MESSAGE BOARD POST OF THE DAY
Matt is Hilarious… posted by 77cane
Saw him again on Good Morning. He cracks me up. Gary is the perfect straight man for him. Even if I didn’t care about the Canes, I might tune in for the entertainment. Plus his opinions usually make good sense. Personally I like his pessimism- helps offset the usual Kool-Aid.
