Many of the Miami Hurricanes football games this season will have kickoff times determined within the two weeks prior to the game.

But four of them will not.

It was announced today that the Friday, Sept. 1 game vs. Miami (Ohio) will begin at 7 p.m., with the following game vs. Texas A&M on Saturday, Sept. 9 starting at 3:30 p.m.

DraftKings already has UM as a 17.5-point favorite vs. Miami (Ohio) and lists the Canes as a 6.5-point underdog to the Aggies.

The third game of the year, also at home on Thursday, Sept. 14, will begin at 7:30 p.m. That’s vs. Bethune-Cookman.

And one other gametime was announced, this one on the road at Boston College on Friday, Nov. 24. That will start at Noon and it’s Miami’s final regular season game.

For reference, last year Miami’s first two games vs. Bethune-Cookman and Southern Miss were both afternoon games, at 3:30 and Noon respectively. In fact, Miami only had two night games all last season as UM finished 5-7 and wasn’t on the national radar – that awas game 3 at Texas A&M and the annual rivalry game vs. Florida State Nov. 5.

Miami fans can root for a better season and more night games in 2023.
