Miami's Akheem Mesidor says transition to DT hasn't come easily: "I don’t feel like I’ve performed the way I want to or am capable"

Some might say it’s a bit of a quiet season to this point for Miami Hurricanes DT Akheem Mesidor, who earned plenty of praise this fall from coaches for his level of play coming off injury that cost him almost all of last season. Despite the stats showing just 13 tackles and 2.5 sacks in the seven games, don’t underestimate his impact. And remember, he previously played mostly end at Miami, and tackle stats are a bit harder to come by.
