Sure, Miami Hurricanes starting RT Francis Mauigoa was a freshman All-American last year. But that doesn’t mean he was just going to sit back this off-season and enjoy his status. As coach Mario Cristobal put it on Monday, “Last year he was nowhere near the player he is now. He’s improved tremendously through an insane amount of (work). He’s taken more than a step, has taken a couple of steps to become one of the best players in the country at any position. And a member of the leadership council. He’s just scratching the surface.”
