MIDSEASON GRADING THE HURRICANES: What a difference a year has made for the tight ends position
What a difference a year makes. Last season no tight end on Miami's roster ended the season with even 100 receiving yards as Elijah Arroyo was out almost the entire year injured. With Arroyo back healthy this year? Well, it’s added a much-needed pass catching dimension to the group. Through these first six games Arroyo averages the most yards per catch of anyone on the roster with 20.4 (14 catches, 286 yards). He’s also found the end zone four times, one off Xavier Restrepo’s team-leading five.
