OPINION: First 4 opponents are among nation's worst-ranked defenses, but that doesn't minimize what Cam Ward & Co. are showing us

Let’s give some perspective for a second on the Miami Hurricanes’ high-flying offense that ranks No. 2 in the nation in total offense and No. 4 in scoring offense. This is a team that has now faced opponents ranked No. 112 (Florida), 99 (FAMU), 132 (Ball State) and 103 in the nation in total defense. Now, did Miami’s attack skew the numbers a bit to the downside? Sure. But other opponents have had plenty of success as well.
