WHAT’S UP TODAY
First up this morning in your Miami Hurricanes news?
We continue to update your transfer portal news, of course, which you can see in our Portal Headquarters. We had new analysis items of two more portal targets Miami’s showing interest in that you can check out – Arizona State WR Elijhah Badger, Louisville LB Jaylin Alderman, FSU nickel Greedy Vance and UCLA DT Jay Toia. There’s also our portal overview of where things stand this morning.
And we continue our football team analysis off spring ball. We have thoughts from nickel Mishael Powell, a ranking of top college talent that includes four Hurricanes, and our in-depth post-spring analysis of the quarterback and running back positions.
In recruiting? We have your Q&A with our recruiting insiders Stephen Wagner and Izubee Charles.
As for updates?
We catch up with Tampa (Fla.) Sumner On300 2025 receiver Tyler Williams, who updates where things stand with Miami.
Orlando (Fla.) Bishop Moore Catholic four-star 2026 EDGE Jake Kreul also shares the unique way in which he landed a Miami offer and beaks down his recruitment.
There’s also an update with Chattanooga (Tenn.) Baylor School priority running back Shekai Mills-Knight, who has now locked in a summer trip to Coral Gables after visiting in early April.

An official visitor this summer that’s committed elsewhere? That’s top-70 four-star linebacker Tarvos “TJ” Alford. He committed to Ohio State March 30, but the Hurricanes remain in the hunt.
Miami remains very much in the mix with Fishers (Ind.) Hamilton Southeastern defensive back Mason Alexander as well. Check out what he’s saying.
Plus you can check out the recap and reaction off the baseball team’s weekend series with Louisville.
And, as always, stay tuned today for any news that may come up.

MESSAGE BOARD POST OF THE DAY
How college football and recruiting has changed … Posted by Miamidadeforlife
If you haven’t played in two years, there’s a high chance the coach will ask you to leave. Coaches no longer have the time to develop players as they once did, which is unfortunate because players often expect to stay in a program for 3-4 years. In this new era of college football, it’s only 1-2 years unless you’re an elite player like Rueben Bain. If not, be prepared to receive your walking papers or a pink slip, indicating your time with the team is up.
MIAMI HURRICANES QUOTE OF THE DAY
“There’s a reason he was All-ACC, broke the record last year, his work ethic. It won’t get any harder (than facing him) in games.”
