Miami landed one of its biggest commits in recent history late last week when Five-Star Plus+ defensive lineman Armondo Blount, the No. 4 overall prospect in the 2025 class, committed to the Hurricanes over Florida State, Ohio State, USC and Oklahoma, among others. Blount became the highest-ranked recruit to pledge to Miami in the On3 Industry Ranking's existence and one of the most prominent recruits the Hurricanes have landed in the last two decades.
