On3 released its latest On300 rankings for the 2025 class Monday, listing the top 300 prospects in this year’s recruiting cycle in its second rankings update of the year.

Here’s where Miami’s recruiting targets and commits sit in the latest On300.

Miami targets in On300

5-star CB DJ Pickett | No. 4 overall recruit
+++ Pickett took a pair of visits to Miami this spring and has an official visit set with the Hurricanes this summer. Miami’s on-field results this fall could play a massive factor in his decision.

4-star WR Dallas Wilson | No. 18 overall recruit (Oregon commit)
+++ Wilson additionally got to campus twice this spring, once on a quick junior day tour and once for a more formal unofficial visit, and has locked in an official visit with the Hurricanes this summer. However, Oregon could be tough to beat.

4-star LB Ty Jackson | No. 20 overall recruit
+++ Jackson visited Miami twice in the last three weeks, including for the Hurricanes’ spring game this past weekend. Miami is currently trying to get Jackson to return this summer for an official visit.

4-star TE Elyiss Williams | No. 35 overall recruit (Georgia commit)
+++ Miami may have landed two four-star tight ends in the last two weeks, but the Hurricanes still have plenty of interest in the No. 1 TE in the 2025 class. Williams visited Miami for two separate spring practices in the last two months.

4-star EDGE Mariyon Dye | No. 40 overall recruit
+++ Ohio State has been the popular name early for Dye, but the Hurricanes have managed to stay in the picture for the Indiana prospect. He’s expected to take an official visit to Miami this summer.

4-star OL Solomon Thomas | No. 41 overall recruit (FSU commit)
+++ Miami has slowly chipped away at Thomas, who attended the Hurricanes’ spring game with his full family and will likely take an official visit to Miami this summer.

4-star WR Vernell Brown III | No. 46 overall recruit
+++ Brown continues his climb through the On300 for the second time this year after going from a top-300 recruit to top-100 recruit and now, finally, a top-50 recruit. There’s been plenty of buzz around Brown and Ohio State, but Miami is expected to receive an official visit this summer.

4-star WR Jaime Ffrench | No. 55 overall recruit
+++ Ffrench was originally committed to Alabama before Nick Saban’s retirement and has fully re-opened his recruitment. Ohio State, Florida State, Texas and LSU have also remained in the mix.

4-star WR Joshua Moore | No. 57 overall recruit
+++ Moore jumps into the On300 for the first time this year after a few impressive showings in camp settings. The 6-foot-3.5, 205-pound wideout has continued to hear daily from Miami’s staff.

4-star CB Adonyss Currie | No. 66 overall recruit
+++ Miami has quietly made itself a contender for Currie, who received a Miami offer in February and made a weekend trip to Coral Gables this spring.

4-star CB Ben Hanks Jr. | No. 72 overall recruit
+++ Hanks has been one of Miami’s top defensive back priorities this cycle and could arguably be the best defensive back in South Florida.

4-star RB Ousmane Kromah | No. 78 overall recruit
+++ Miami is in a good position for Kromah along with a bounty of SEC programs following his April trip to Miami. Expect the Hurricanes to pay him an in-school visit during the upcoming contact period as well.

4-star LB Tarvos “TJ” Alford | No. 82 overall recruit (Ohio State commit)
+++ Alford committed to Ohio State in late March, but Miami is still squarely in the picture for the top-100 prospect with plenty of Miami ties. He’s expected to take an official visit to Coral Gables this summer.

4-star LB Zayden Walker | No. 91 overall recruit
+++ Miami is in a tight recruiting battle with schools like Georgia, South Carolina and Penn State for Walker, who has an official visit with Miami scheduled this summer.

4-star OL Max Buchanan | No. 96 overall recruit
+++ Buchanan is versatile enough to play anywhere along the offensive line and has long been one of Miami’s top priorities this cycle. He currently has official visits scheduled with six schools including Miami.

4-star S Hylton “Drake” Stubbs | No. 102 overall recruit (USC commit)
+++ Stubbs’ commitment to USC came as a surprise, and Florida was the program with the most buzz around it for most of his recruitment, but Miami is still in the mix for the blue-chip prospect.

4-star RB Girard Pringle | No. 107 overall recruit (Miami commit)
+++ Pringle pulled the trigger quickly after his first Miami spring visit and is particularly close with running backs coach Matt Merritt, who played a large role in his commitment.

4-star WR Cortez Mills | No. 108 overall recruit
+++ Clemson looks like the Canes’ biggest competition for Mills at the moment, but with spring practices now wrapped up, it’s hard not to be optimistic about the Hurricanes’ chances.

4-star LB Elijah Melendez | No. 112 overall recruit (Miami commit)
+++ Melendez was one of the first commits in Miami’s 2025 class and has remained solid with the Hurricanes despite taking other visits.

4-star S Dallas Golden | No. 125 overall recruit
+++ Golden has been a major national recruit and a Miami priority since the Hurricanes began focusing on the 2025 class.

4-star S Eric Winters | No. 130 overall recruit
+++ Winters has both the skillset to play safety and the size to play linebacker and is currently being recruited by linebackers coach Derek Nicholson.

4-star QB Luke Nickel | No. 147 overall recruit (Miami commit)
+++ Nickel climbs for the second straight recruiting rankings update after being listed as the No. 152 overall recruit in the last update. On3 is the only recruiting database to list Miami’s quarterback commit in the top 150.

4-star IOL Cortez Smith | No. 152 overall recruit
+++ Smith may be in Georgia’s backyard, but the Hurricanes have continued to aggressively pursue the blue-chip offensive guard.

4-star LB Jadon Perlotte | No. 161 overall recruit (Georgia commit)
+++ Miami has continued to push for Perlotte, a Buford prospect who committed to Georgia more than a year ago and has continued to consider the Hurricanes.

4-star S Carson Lawrence | No. 164 overall recruit (Vanderbilt commit)
+++ Miami has given Lawrence a good look after getting him to campus for a practice this spring and will take an official visit to Coral Gables this summer.

4-star EDGE Zion Grady | No. 191 overall recruit
+++ On3’s Steve Wiltfong recently RPM’d Grady to Miami following a pair of spring visits to Coral Gables and likes where things sit with the Hurricanes.

4-star CB Trystan Haynes | No. 198 overall recruit
+++ Haynes currently has an official visit locked in with Miami May 31 but has continued to receive plenty of attention from Oklahoma, Notre Dame and Texas A&M.

4-star WR Tyler Williams | No. 211 overall recruit
+++ Williams cracks the On300 as his recruitment takes off nationally. Miami offered him in January and has secured an official visit, but schools including Georgia, Florida and Ole Miss have come on strong.

4-star CB Chris Ewald Jr. | No. 218 overall recruit
+++ I RPM’d Ewald to Miami earlier this spring and continue to feel good about the four-star cornerback’s chances to land at Miami.

4-star TE Brock Schott | No. 232 overall recruit (Miami commit)
+++ Schott, the latest member of Miami’s 2025 class, chose the Hurricanes over Ohio State Saturday evening and gives the Canes seven commits in the current cycle, four of which are blue-chip prospects.

4-star LB Ethan Pritchard | No. 242 overall recruit (FSU commit)
+++ Pritchard visited Miami earlier this spring and is still considering other programs despite his FSU commitment.

4-star TE Luka Gilbert | No. 279 overall recruit (Miami commit)
+++ Gilbert committed shortly before Schott did and has formally shut down his recruitment. He has cancelled his other official visits.

4-star CB Mason Alexander | No. 280 overall recruit
+++ Alexander received an in-school visit from Miami during the January contact period and has continued to think highly of the Hurricanes’ staff.

4-star OL Douglas Utu | No. 281 overall recruit
+++ Utu is part of arguably the country’s best high school offensive line at Bishop Gorman in Las Vegas.

4-star OT Ziyare Addison | No. 288 overall recruit
+++ Addison is expected to take an official visit to Miami this summer as schools including Florida State, UCLA and Colorado continue to push.

4-star RB Byron Louis | No. 291 overall recruit
+++ Louis has been a major Miami running back priority this cycle and has been a regular face on Miami’s campus. I RPM’d him to Miami in February.

4-star IOL Seuseu “SJ” Alofaituli | No. 297 overall recruit
+++ Alofaituli was on campus for Miami’s spring game Saturday and has been a huge priority this spring. He locked in an official visit last weekend as well.
