Cal Haladay is moving better, excited about Michigan State defense after dropping weight during off-season

Michigan State senior Cal Haladay is lighter, faster, and excited about playing in a linebacker-friendly scheme. "I think (the scheme) is good, and it just makes you more aggressive in the run game," Haladay said. "The Big Ten can be a very run-heavy conference. Being able to play downhill, getting d-linemen off of double teams and making plays and putting them behind the sticks on first down makes the game a lot easier. It also makes the offense a lot more predictable because you have to do certain things when it is second-and-long."
