Detroit (Mich.) Cass Tech 2025 DB Cashus Shivers talks Michigan State offer

Michigan State extended a very important offer on Feb. 16, offering Detroit (Mich.) Cass Tech High School defensive back Cashus Shivers. Shivers (6-0, 190) previously held an offer from the former Spartan staff, also holding offers from Pittsburgh, Iowa, Kentucky, Missouri, and others. The in-state defensive back had been talking to the new Michigan State staff since December, as Jonathan Smith, along with running backs coach Keith Bhonapha stopped in Cass Tech. He kept in touch with the Michigan State coaches, along with secondary coach Blue Adams and cornerbacks coach Demetrice Martin leading up to the offer.
