Izzo wants higher motor from Michigan State freshman Xavier Booker, who is making progress

McDonald's All-American Xavier Booker hasn't made the impact at Michigan State that many fans expected given common perceptions of how a five-star player should perform. Booker is, however, making progress and can earn a bigger role by playing with a higher motor on a consistent basis. “It’s been a little bit of a struggle, but I see him getting better,” Tom Izzo said. “Hopefully working harder and realizing at this level that he has a lot of help."
