Michigan State 2025 DL commit Cal Thrush kicks off senior season

pper Arlington (OH) - Michigan State 2025 defensive line commitment Cal Thrush began his senior season on August 23, as Upper Arlington High School took on Cleveland area powerhouse in Glenville. Glenville is coached by legendary Ohio head coach Ted Ginn Sr., as both schools earned their reputation as top programs in Ohio. Glenville finished with a 13-3 record and a state championship in 2023. Upper Arlington finished the 2023 season 11-4, as they look to make a run in the state playoffs. Glenville beat Upper Arlington 6-0 on Friday night, in what was a defensive showcase by both teams. The Michigan State commitment, Thrush, spent the majority of the evening in the Glenville backfield. He drew multiple penalties on the Glenville offensive line and was strong on run defense throughout the evening.
