2025 LB DiMari Malone breaks down decision to commit to Michigan State

Michigan State received its third 2025 commitment when three-star linebacker DiMari Malone announced his intention to play for the Spartans via social media on Sunday. Malone made his Spartan pledge official with a video that showed the in-state prospect choosing Michigan State over Minnesota, Pittsburgh and Kansas, among others. Malone (6-2, 220) is the No. 758 prospect in the 2025 class, per the On3 Industry Rankings. He is also the No. 78 linebacker and No. 13 recruit from Michigan in his class. SpartanMag recently caught up with Malone to discuss his Spartan pledge. Malone's announcement may have come on Mother's Day, but his Michigan State commitment had been on his mind for a while.
