Michigan State defense flourishing thanks in part to developing depth on the d-line
Michigan State coaches shown trust in starters, back-ups, and back of the rotation players on the defensive line to perform at a high level in critical situations to this point in the season. As a result, new playmakers are emerging across the defensive line and the entire defense is better for it. “We’ve got a bunch of guys that can play defensive line and do what we are asking them to do in terms of giving us a chance to win ballgames,” d-line coach Legi Suiaunoa said. “Whenever you can play that many guys, you become a better football team, a better unit."
