Michigan State defensive coordinator Joe Rossi seeing growth during 'hard times'

Michigan State defensive coordinator Joe Rossi had three Top 10 defenses in six seasons in Minnesota. That success was born out of lessons learned in hard-times, something Spartan defenders are in the midst over right now. "This thing isn’t going to be perfect the whole way through,” Rossi said after practice on Wednesday. “I look to at the stretch that we are in, and the hard times that we are in right now, as really hardening the guys for the future.”
