2024 three-star TE Wyatt Hook commits to Michigan State
East Lansing, Mich. – Michigan State earned a commitment from 2024 Cupertino (Calif.) Homestead High School tight end Wyatt Hook Tuesday afternoon. He announced his pledge on social media.
Hook, a three-star prospect, originally committed to Oregon State on Dec. 1, 2022. He decommitted from the Beaver program shortly after former Oregon State head coach Jonathan Smith took the Michigan State job.
Brian Wozniak, Smith’s tight end coach at Oregon State, followed Smith to East Lansing. Michigan State officially hired Wozniak on Dec. 7. Hook reunited with Wozniak during his official visit to Michigan State the weekend of Dec. 8.
“(Wozniak) played at Wisconsin so he is pretty familiar with all the Big Ten schools and knows a lot about them,” Hook said. “He had good things to say. He played against Michigan State and said the stadium gets loud. The fans get pretty into it and rowdy.”
