Rehash&Analysis: Michigan State handles Prairie View, but injuries and penalties continue
EAST LANSING, Mich. - Storylines stayed steady for Michigan State in the Spartans’ 40-0 victory over Prairie View A&M, Saturday at Spartan Stadium, with the Spartans improving to 3-0 - on both the positive and negative side. Michigan State’s defense was strong once again, although the Panthers challenged the Spartans with a competitive passing attack. The Spartan offense, led by Aidan Chiles, was occasionally explosive, somewhat efficient. Penalties continued to be a problem. And the injury bug continued to bite. Right guard Gavin Broscious went down with an apparent lower body injury. He was carted off the field in the third quarter. (More inside).
