When Michigan State mens golf coach Casey Lubahn had an idea for a regional college golf tournament that would benefit the Folds of Honor organization in 2021, he had no idea the FOH Collegiate would become one of the biggest summer tournaments in college golf. In year two of the event, the Spartans welcome a loaded 18-team field to American Dunes Golf Club in Grand Haven, Mich. on Sept. 4-6 for a 54-hole tournament that will be televised on the Golf Channel. “We came up with this vision to create an elite college golf event,” said Luban, who brainstormed the FOH Collegiate along with FOH founder Lt. Colonel Dan Rooney. “To be an elite program, it is a responsibility to host an elite college event. This will be year two, with teams coming from coast to coast. It is one of the best fields in college golf.”
