Michigan State landed a commitment from class of 2025 three-star defensive back George Mullins, of Bushnell (FL) South Sumpter High School on June 22. He announced via social media. The defensive back is currently on campus for an official visit, which will wrap up on June 23.

Mullins (6-2, 170) has a long standing relationship with Spartan secondary coach Blue Adams, stretching back to the position coaches time with Oregon State. Adams and Michigan State offered Mullins back in December of 2023.

Adams and Oregon State were one of the first schools to offer the Florida safety, back in May of 2023. His other offers include West Virginia, Central Florida, Mississippi State, Illinois, Louisville, and others.

Mullins visited Michigan State in April for a spring practice. He took other official visits to Oregon State and Toledo in June

“Ever since I have met their coaches, they have made me feel like a number one priority,” Mullins previously told SpartanMag.com. “I feel wanted, not just needed. I talk to coach Blue, coach Meat, and coach Austin (D’Armound). We always talk.”
