Michigan State received a commitment from class of 2025 wide receiver Braylon Collier on June 7, he announced via social media. Collier (6-1, 170), of Sandusky (OH) Perkins High School is a three sport athlete, also playing shortstop and center field for the Perkins baseball team, and also running track.

Collier is ranked a three-star, the No. 917 overall recruit in the 2025 On3 Industry Rankings. He is also ranked the No. 140 wide receiver in his class, and the No. 35 recruit in Ohio.

The speedy receiver is the No. 3 ranked receiver in Ohio for his class. Collier holds other offers from Iowa, Iowa State, and more. He cancelled official visits scheduled for later this month with the Cyclones and Hawkeyes to commit to Michigan State after an official visit that began on May 31.

Collier logged 80 receptions and 1,164 receiving yards with 18 touchdowns as a junior in 2024. He also had five pass breakups and an interception on defense.

The 6-foot-1, 170-pound receiver becomes the sixth commitment in the Spartan 2025 class, and the first at the wide receiver position. Offensively, he joins three-star California quarterback Leo Hannan, along with three-star Wisconsin tight end Emmett Bork, and in-state three-star running back Jace Clarizio.

On the defensive side of the ball, Michigan State holds two commitments from three-star in-state linebackers Charles White and DiMari Malone.

Courtney Hawkins and offensive graduate assistant Cordale Grundy landed three wide receivers in the 2024 class, landing Berea (OH) Midpark receiver Austin Clay late in the cycle. Texas receiver Jaylan Brown was also a late addition to the 2024 class, signing in the February signing period.

Hawkins and Grundy also signed four-star freshman Nick Marsh, who enrolled early in East Lansing and participated in spring ball.

Michigan State will also host Texas receiver Charles Taplin for an official visit this weekend (June 7). Taplin was offered by the Spartans in May. He will visit Tulsa and Washington State for officials following the trip to East Lansing.

Florida receivers Myles Kendrick and Chase Collier will visit East Lansing for official visits in June 14. The Jacksonville receivers have grown up as friends, as they both included the Spartans in their top lists this month.

Michigan State will also welcome in-state receiver Bryson Williams, along with Virginia receiver Trey Jones and Texas receiver Antoine Martin for official visits on June 21.
