Michigan State ran the ball effectively against Iowa and was equally up to the task on the other side of the football in stopping the run against Iowa last weekend. Against Michigan this weekend in the annual clash for the Paul Bunyan Trophy effectively following the same formula will put Michigan State in the best position to defeat its in-state rival for the first time under Jonathan Smith.
