Michigan State players see progress being made in the run-game operation
Work remains before the Michigan State run game operation is ready for the best teams in the Big Ten. At this point in training camp, however, Michigan State players are convinced that they are much improved running the football from last season. "We are definitely ahead, and we’re getting closer,” offensive tackle Spencer Brown said. “We are executing more, and I feel like everybody is on the same page. We know what we are doing and there are not as many busts as there were. We are taking it slow, and everyone is understanding that you’ve got to do your job, and you can’t do someone else’s job. We are executing at a higher level.”
