Michigan State senior Tre Mosley embracing 'OG' tag as a leader at wide receiver
He's just 21, but as the oldest wideout in the Michigan State program, senior Tre Mosley is embracing the 'OG' given to him by his younger teammates. Mosley is also determined to step up his production at the WR position coming of a solid junior season in which he ranked third among Spartan WR's in receptions, receiving yards, and TD's. “A lot of them call me OG now, so I laugh. It's crazy. I'm (the) old man. I'm only 21 but I liked it. I take it on with all respect,’’ Mosley said. “You know, just showing the guys how to go about their business and be mature because we do have a lot of youth in the room still. So just showing guys the right, what’s right, what’s was wrong, how to take care of business; have your fun but make sure you always keep the main thing the main thing first. So that's my advice to the younger guys.’’
