Michigan State sets spring football dates as off-season hits full steam
EAST LANSING, Mich. - Michigan State is locked-in and ready to roll with its off-season football schedule, with a date saved for the annual spring scrimmage. The Spartans released the starting and ending dates of its spring practice season on Saturday. The Spartans will begin under second-year head coach Jonathan Smith on Tuesday, March 18. Spring practice will end on Saturday, April 19. The Spartans will practice every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, spanning five weeks between March 18 and April 19.
