Scouting summary
The bull-rushing defensive tackle’s explosiveness and strength is the first thing that stands out when reviewing his junior film. Simmons uses his bowling ball-like frame to get in the backfield in a hurry.
Simmons has improved his technique and added strength as a senior. He plays offensive line and throws shot put for Frankenmuth as well.
After a long playoff run, Frankenmuth lost in the MHSAA Division V state championship to Pontiac (Mich.) Notre Dame Prep.
