SpartanMag LIVE! Covering Michigan State football and recruiting
East Lansing, Mich. – SpartanMag’s Jim Comparoni is joined by SpartanMag recruiting anchor Jason Killop to discuss the latest in Michigan State football recruiting in this week’s edition of SpartanMag LIVE!
In this week’s SpartanMag LIVE!, Comparoni and Killop discuss Killop’s recent conversations with Michigan State wide receiver recruiting targets Aziyah Johnson (6-2, 175, WR/CB, Richmond, Va.) and Jaelen Smith. Johnson and Smith visited Michigan State last weekend.
Johnson is a stock-on-the-rise prospect, who has risen from being an unoffered recruit to being the No. 20 prospect in Virginia in the On3 rankings. He has new offers from Michigan State, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia Tech and Duke.
Johnson revealed to Killop that plans of a Dec. 6 commitment have been delayed until Dec. 21.
Comparoni continues to compare Johnson’s receiving talent and run-after-the-catch skill to Jordan Addison. Hefty comparison? Heck yes, but Comparoni doesn’t make those kind of comparisons very often.
