Michigan State to host several top recruits for Ohio State game
Michigan State will welcome several top 2025 and 2026 recruits to campus for its game against Ohio State Sunday afternoon.
Multiple sources confirmed to SpartanMag.com that Jerry Easter, Darius Adams, Chuck Love, Steven Reynolds, Gabriel Sularski and Gregory Lawson will attend Sunday’s game at the Breslin Center (4 p.m., CBS).
Below is a breakdown of each recruit:
2025 four-star PG Jerry Easter, La Porte (Ind.) La Lumiere
Michigan State offered Easter (6-3, 180) in October 2021. He holds additional offers from UCLA, Georgia Tech, Ohio State, Illinois, Syracuse and Tennessee, among others. Easter is the No. 30 player in the 2025 class, per the On3 Industry Rankings. He is also the No. 6 point guard and No. 3 player from Indiana in his class.
Easter has taken several visits to Michigan State. His most recent trip came in September 2023.
2025 four-star SG Darius Adams, La Porte (Ind.) La Lumiere
Michigan State offered Adams (6-4, 165) on Jan. 9. He holds additional offers from Tennessee, Florida, Alabama, Michigan, Kansas and Villanova, among others. Adams is the No. 25 player in the 2025 class, per the On3 Industry Rankings. He is also the No. 7 shooting guard and No. 2 player from Indiana in his class.
Adams told On3’s Joe Tipton on Jan. 30 that Michigan State is one of five schools that he’s hearing from the most. Spartan head coach Tom Izzo visited Adams and his teammates at La Lumiere earlier this season.
2025 four-star SF Chuck Love, La Porte (Ind.) La Lumiere
Love (6-7, 185) has yet to receive a Michigan State offer. He holds offers from Oregon, Oklahoma, Illinois, Missouri and Xavier, among others. Love is the No. 53 player in the 2025 class, per the On3 Industry Rankings. He is also the No. 13 small forward and No. 4 player from Indiana in his class.
Love told On3’s Jamie Shaw on Jan. 29 that he is hearing from Illinois and Missouri the most thus far.
2025 three-star PG Gregory Lawson, Davison (Mich.)
Lawson (6-3) has yet to receive a Michigan State offer. He holds offers from Penn State, Xavier, Arkansas, Florida State, Arizona State and Toledo, among others. Lawson is the No. 160 player in the 2025 class, per the On3 Industry Rankings. He is also the No. 26 point guard and No. 2 player from Michigan in his class.

Lawson also plays cornerback for Davison’s football team. He took a football visit to Michigan State for the Spartans’ game against Washington in September 2023. Lawson has also taken two basketball visits to East Lansing.
2026 four-star PG Steven Reynolds, South Bend (Ind.) Washington
Reynolds (6-4, 170) has yet to receive a Michigan State offer. He holds offers from Purdue, Mississippi State, Nebraska and Toledo, among others. Reynolds has already visited Michigan State twice, with his most recent trip occurring in September 2023.
Reynolds is the No. 40 player in the 2026 class, per the On3 Industry Rankings. He is also the No. 7 point guard and No. 1 player from Indiana in his class.

2026 SF Gabriel Sularski, Lisle (Ill.) Benet Academy
Michigan State offered Sularski (6-6, 185) in October 2023. He holds additional offers from Northwestern, Purdue, Wisconsin, Illinois and Tennessee, among others. Sularski has yet to receive a ranking from the On3 Industry Rankings.
Sularski first visited Michigan State for the Spartans’ football game against Michigan on Oct. 21, 2023. He made a return trip shortly thereafter to take in Michigan State’s exhibition basketball game against Tennessee on Oct. 29.
