East Lansing, Mich. – Former Michigan State wide receiver Christian Fitzpatrick has committed to Marshall out of the transfer portal, he announced via social media Friday night.

Fitzpatrick, a redshirt junior, entered the portal on Nov. 28 after logging a career-high 18 receptions for 252 yards and one touchdown this fall.

The 6-foot-4, 220-pound Fitzpatrick spent a total of three seasons at Michigan State after transferring in from Louisville after his freshman year in 2020. Fitzpatrick played in the first five games of the 2022 season but missed the rest of the year with an injury.

Fitzpatrick played in 11 games for Michigan State during the 2021 season. He played 81 snaps at wide receiver that year.

A former three-star recruit out of Southfield (Mich.) A&T High School, Fitzpatrick was the No. 648 prospect in the 2020 class, per the On3 Industry Rankings. He was also the No. 112 wide receiver and No. 22 player from Michigan in his class.
