3-2-1: Michigan State women’s hoops - defense, depth, and a late-season surge?

EAST LANSING, Mich. - With two games left in the regular season starting with tonight’s huge test at 7 p.m. against No. 12 Ohio State on the road, the No. 22 Michigan State women’s basketball team needs and wants to start building the necessary momentum to get it going downhill in the postseason. Now, it’s time to see if the Spartans can gain the push needed against the third-place Buckeyes (23-4, 12-4) and then Minnesota on Saturday to finish off the regular season strong as it prepares for the Big Ten and NCAA Tournament. The Spartans begin tonight’s play in a tie for sixth in the conference with rival Michigan. Continue below for Three Things We Learned, Two Questions, and One Prediction based on what we saw from Michigan State in the span of the team’s last six games in which the Spartans have gone 3-3.
