REACTION: Tom Izzo breaks down Michigan State's second-half surge vs. Bryant

CLEVELAND - Tom Izzo was almost apologetic about the fact that his Michigan State Spartans posted a 25-point victory over Bryant in the First Round of the NCAA Tournament, Friday at Rocket Arena. He wasn’t sheepish about winning, and moving on in the Big Dance. But he kind of felt bad for the defeated. “The score was not indicative of the game,” Izzo said in his opening statement of the postgame press conference. “Let's be fair to them. They came out and punched us right in the mouth, hit some shots early, got some rebounds early, turned us over. I thought they did a great job. Then I thought our bigs let us down a little bit, if I'm honest with you.” More inside.
