Three-star 2025 Indiana DL Tyrone Burrus Jr. talks Michigan State visit

Michigan State welcomed 2025 defensive lineman Tyrone Burrus for an unofficial visit during spring practice on April 6. Burrus (6-4, 225) was offered by Michigan State in January, as the weekend trip was his first visit to East Lansing under Jonathan Smith and the new Spartan staff. Burrus is ranked a three-star, the No. 467 overall recruit in the 2025 On3 Industry Rankings. He is also ranked the No. 43 edge rusher, and the No. 6 recruit in Indiana. Burrus holds offers from Iowa, Purdue, Minnesota, Illinois, and others. The Indianapolis (IN) defensive lineman will take an official to Indiana in June. Burrus is in the process of setting up another official to Louisville. After a strong weekend visit, Michigan State has now also joined the running to land a June official visit.
