All-Star Game Roundup: Michigan signees set to play in All-American bowls
Michigan signees are set to play in the three major All-American games this month. Here is a full breakdown of which recruits are playing and where/when to watch.
Under Armour
The Under Armour All-American Game will take place in Orlando, Florida on Thursday, Jan. 2 at 4 p.m. ET and will be broadcast live on ESPN.
The game is set to feature three Michigan signees — five-star Belleville (Mich.) High quarterback Bryce Underwood, four-star Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy linebacker Nathaniel Owusu-Boateng and three-star Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy offensive lineman Kaden Strayhorn.
Underwood, the No. 1 quarterback and No. 1 overall prospect nationally, was originally committed to LSU before flipping to Michigan in November. Michigan signed Underwood to a mega-NIL deal as it invested heavily in the quarterback position after a year of struggles.
Owusu-Boateng was a big win for Michigan on National Signing Day. The Wolverines made Owusu-Boateng, the No. 19 linebacker and No. 188 overall prospect nationally, its top overall priority at the linebacker position for the majority of the cycle and closed earlier this month despite a late push from Colorado.
Strayhorn, the No. 48 interior offensive lineman and No. 552 overall prospect nationally, is expected to play center at Michigan. Strayhorn, who is a Michigan State legacy, committed to the Wolverines while on his official visit in June and remained solid throughout the process.
Along with the signees, the game will also feature On300 Philadelphia (Pa.) Imhotep Charter EDGE Zahir Mathis, who is one of Michigan’s most important remaining targets in the 2025 recruiting class. The Wolverines are looking to get him on campus in January.
This is the first year the Under Armour game will allow underclassmen to participate in the event. Some notable 2026 Michigan targets slated to take part in the game are Top 100 Mineral (Va.) Louisa County running back Savion Hiter, Top 100 Forney (Texas) High running back Javian Osborne, Top 100 Saint George (Utah) Pine View tight end Brock Harris and five-star Nixa (Mo.) High offensive lineman Jackson Cantwell.
Navy
The Navy All-American Bowl was formerly known as the Army All-American Bowl before becoming the All-American Bowl presented by Adidas. Despite all the name changes, the game will still be played in San Antonio, Texas on Saturday, Jan. 11. The game will be broadcast live on NBC at 1 p.m ET.
The game is set to feature four Michigan signees — five-star Overland Park (Kan.) Blue Valley Northwest offensive lineman Andrew Babalola, Top 100 Katy (Texas) Jordan wide receiver Andrew Marsh, Top 100 Oak Park (Ill.) Fenwick defensive lineman Nate Marshall and Top 100 Monroe (N.C.) High safety Jordan Young.
Babalola committed to Michigan in October over Stanford, Missouri, Oklahoma and others after a series of delays. Ranked as the No. 3 offensive tackle and No. 15 overall prospect nationally, Babalola is expected to make an immediate impact in Ann Arbor.

Marsh committed to Michigan in August and should be able to boost a wide receiver room in need of some help as a true freshman. Marsh, the No. 13 wide receiver and No. 90 overall prospect nationally, made a late visit to Washington but ultimately stuck with U-M.
Marshall, the No. 7 defensive lineman and No. 59 overall prospect nationally, committed to Michigan early in the process but flipped to Auburn early in the fall. Michigan made a strong NIL run and was able to win him back right before National Signing Day.
Young, the No. 8 safety and No. 99 overall prospect nationally, committed to Clemson in November but flipped his pledge to Michigan just a few weeks later. Like Marshall, Young was a big recruiting win for the Wolverines right before National Signing Day.
The Navy All-American Bowl will also allow underclassmen to participate in the event for the first time. Some notable 2026 Michigan targets include Top 100 Richmond (Va.) St. Christopher’s offensive lineman Darius Gray, Top 100 Mansfield (Texas) Lake Ridge offensive lineman Felix Ojo, On300 Las Vegas (Nev.) Bishop Gorman defensive lineman James Carrington and four-star Sarasota (Fla.) Cardinal Mooney defensive lineman Elijah Golden.
Polynesian Bowl
The Polynesian Bowl will take place on Friday, Jan. 17 in Honolulu, Hawaii and will be broadcast live on the NFL Network at 2 a.m. ET.
The game will feature just one signee in the aforementioned Andrew Marsh, who will be traveling from Texas to Hawaii to take part in the game before starting classes at Michigan as an early enrollee.
The event will also feature notable 2026 Michigan targets like the aforementioned Brock Harris, Top 100 Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy offensive lineman Keenyi Pepe, On300 Honolulu (Hawaii) Kamehameha offensive lineman Malakai Lee and On300 Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy safety Zech Fort.
