SoundMind SoundBody, located and operated in Southeast Michigan, is one of the nationally premier year-round training academies for top high school football players in the country. From monthly camps, 7v7 tournaments, to SAT prep and tutoring, SMSB is fully invested in the future of touted recruits native to Detroit and its suburbs. On Tuesday, SMSB co-hosted the Supermax 100 Midwest Invitational alongside National Players Academy out of Nashville, Tenneseee, at Ford Field. During the event, The Wolverine spoke to SMSB founder and director, Curtis Blackwell, on the benefits of putting on showcases like Supermax 100, as well as the respected job Michigan is doing with thoroughly recruiting athletes from SMSB.
