ANN ARBOR, Mich. — Michigan Wolverines football fans rushed the streets of Ann Arbor Monday night following the team’s 34-13 win over Washington in Houston to secure the national title. On Saturday, many more fans will line the streets for a championship parade that will begin at 4 p.m.

Following the parade, the Champions Circle NIL collective will host a ticketed event at Crisler Center with a 7 o’clock start time. All proceeds from the event will go to the collective, which directly benefits Michigan student athletes. The ceremony will be televised live by the Big Ten Network and streaming on the FOX Sports app. TheWolverine.com will also be in attendance, providing coverage from the event.

Michigan won its 12th-ever national championship by capping off a perfect, 15-0 season with wins over Alabama in the CFP semifinal at the Rose Bowl and Washington Monday night at NRG Stadium. The Maize and Blue hadn’t won the title since 1997, when it finished first in the Associated Press poll. Jim Harbaugh is now one of four active head coaches to have won the national title. He’s the only active football coach to have led a team to the Super Bowl and national championship game.
