Titan Davis, the No. 104 recruit in the country, committed to Michigan Monday evening, finalizing another huge recruiting win over Alabama for the Wolverines. The On300 defensive lineman from Saint Louis (Mo.) DeSmet High made his decision after a Victors Weekend official visit.

He’s the No. 9 defensive lineman in the country and checks in at 6-4, 262 pounds. Davis previously narrowed down his recruitment to two schools after visiting Alabama May 30, and Michigan managed to pull ahead during this pivotal weekend on campus. He is the third-highest-ranked commit in the class.

The four-star prospect also held offers from USC, Penn State, Oregon, LSU and many others. Davis is one of the most coveted interior defensive linemen in the nation, and he holds 32 Power Four offers. He previously set an official visit with Nebraska before canceling that trip.

Earlier this year, his mother Jessica Johnson recapped their spring trip to campus. The newest Michigan commit spent a couple of days in Ann Arbor to set the stage for his summer official visit.

“After the visit I told Titan this place stamps all the boxes, not just checks them,” Jessica said. “It’s solid in all the areas that are important.”

Davis visited Michigan three times over the course of his recruitment. Nebraska was the only school to host him more. The Wolverines hosted him in the fall for a game day before his two trips leading up to Sunday’s announcement.

The Wolverines now hold four defensive line commitments for the 2026 cycle. Davis joins On300 edge rusher McHale Blade, three-star defensive lineman Alister Vallejo and three-star edge rusher Tariq Boney in U-M “Trench Mob” class. Defensive line coach Lou Esposito was his primary recruiter.

Following the On300 lineman’s commitment, Michigan now ranks No. 23 in the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings.

Michigan has 13 commits in its 2026 recruiting class — Davis, Columbus (Ohio) St. Francis DeSales running back Jonathan Brown, Top 100 Billings (Mont.) West tight end Matt Ludwig, Top 100 Newbury Park (Calif.) High quarterback Brady Smigiel, On300 Jacksonville (Fla.) Mandarin cornerback Brody Jennings, On300 Chicago (Ill.) Simeon EDGE McHale Blade, three-star Cartersville (Ga.) Cass offensive lineman Bear McWhorter, three-star Washington (D.C.) St. John’s EDGE Tariq Boney, three-star Denver (Colo.) Mullen tight end Mason Bonner, three-star Liberty Hill (Texas) High defensive lineman Alister Vallejo, three-star Dallas (Texas) Parish Episcopal wide receiver Jaylen Pile, three-star Hinsdale (Ill.)
