The Michigan Wolverines have been featured prominently in the marketing for EA Sports College Football 25, which officially released this week with the deluxe edition dropping on Monday afternoon. This gave the world its first look at U-M’s players in the game and what the development team rated them.

There are a handful of players, including some potential starters, who either did not opt into the game or are not currently included as of release week. Roster updates could come in the coming weeks and months, which could allow for more to be included.

Players that opted in received a $600 payout and a copy of the game for themselves to play.

Michigan junior cornerback Will Johnson is the top-ranked player in the new EA Sports College Football 25 video game at 96 overall, while four other Wolverines are top-100 players in the game with defensive tackle Mason Graham (95 overall) at No. 8, tight end Colston Loveland (92 overall) at No. 33, cover athlete and running back Donovan Edwards (91 overall) at No. 49 and defensive tackle Kenneth Grant (91 overall) at No. 55.

The full worldwide release of the standard edition of the game drops on Friday, July 19. CFB 25, which is the first game in EA Sports’ series since Denard Robinson graced the cover of NCAA Football 14, is only available on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S systems. The deluxe edition is digital only and retails for $99.99 with additional perks, including early access, while the standard edition is set at $69.99.

Below is the full list of Michigan players in the game and what EA Sports rated them. Game-generated players are filling the gaps for those who did not opt in, but we do not include them in this rundown.
