Five recruits Michigan should consider offering from Under Armour Atlanta
Several recruits from across the Southeast made their way to Georgia for the annual Under Armour camp in Atlanta.
Here are five standouts that Michigan should consider offering.
ATH Naeem Offord, Birmingham (Ala.) Parker (2025)
Look, it’s tough to pull top level talent out of the state of Alabama. However, Michigan had a nice win down there last cycle in four-star wide receiver Karmello English, which should help moving forward. Michigan is casting a wide net in Alabama in 2025, and Offord should be the next prospect to notch an offer from the Wolverines. Offord is listed as an athlete but looked the part of a high end corner at the camp over the weekend. He has great size at 6-foot-2, 175 pounds and looked really fluid when going through drills. Offord has offers in hand from Alabama, Auburn, Florida State, Ole Miss, South Carolina and others.
QB KJ Lacey, Saraland (Ala.) High (2025)
Michigan is already in on a number of high level signal-callers in the 2025 recruiting class. However, it’s better to have options than to keep taking the all your eggs in one basket approach with the most important position in football. Lacey was a standout from the quarterback group over the weekend. While he is on the shorter side, he showed a quick release, pinpoint accuracy and the ability to push the ball down the field. New Michigan quarterbacks coach Kirk Campbell actually started tracking Lacey after the camp, so the Wolverines are definitely aware. Lacey has offers from Alabama, Auburn, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Tennessee and others.
WR Cameron Sparks, Chattanooga (Tenn.) Baylor (2025)
It is extremely surprising that Michigan hasn’t already offered Sparks considering how much the Wolverines are investing in recruiting the state of Tennessee. Sparks may be the No. 1 overall recruit there next cycle, so it would be wise to jump on him now. Sparks goes to the same school as top 2024 tight end target Max LeBlanc and is part of the same 7v7 organization that produced Michigan cornerback Myles Pollard. At 6-foot-4, 205 pounds, Sparks is a bigger wide out, and U-M is working to add more size to the receiver room.

WR Devin Carter, Ellenwood (Ga.) Cedar Grove (2026)
Carter may just be a freshman, but he was one of the most electric offensive players at the camp. Carter outperformed the upperclassmen and was named WR MVP. Michigan should jump in the mix now as Carter is already starting to see his recruitment blow up with offers from Arkansas, Florida State, Georgia, Ole Miss South Carolina and others. He will be one of the true elite pass catchers in the 2026 recruiting class. Carter is the son of former NFL running back Dexter Carter.
CB Tevis Metcalf, Birmingham (Ala.) Pinson Valley (2024)
Metcalf is ranked in the 1000s as a three-star prospect. However, he was clearly one of the best cornerbacks at the event. In fact, Metcalf was named DB MVP as he locked up some of the highest rated wide receiver recruits in the Southeast. Metcalf isn’t you typical tall, length corner at 5-foot-10, 178 pounds, but he has plenty of speed and plays with an attacking mentality. Michigan recruited his older brother, TJ, so there is already familiarity with the family. Metcalf holds offers from Arkansas, Auburn, Colorado, Georgia Tech and a few others. He could be a major sleeper this cycle.
