Michigan commits were back on the field this weekend.

With the high school football season now underway, future Wolverines are doing their best to impress on Friday nights. Here is a quick look at how they performed.

QB Carter Smith, Fort Myers (Fla.) Bishop Verot

The Skinny: Smith completed 9-of-15 passes for 122 yards and two touchdowns and added 33 yards and another score on the ground in Bishop Verot’s 55-12 win over Tampa (Fla.) Catholic.

QB Brady Hart, Cocoa (Fla.) High (2026)

The Skinny: Hart completed 18-of-30 passes for 331 yards and five touchdowns in Cocoa’s 51-0 blowout win over Dayton Beach (Fla.) Mainland.

RB Donovan Johnson, Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy

The Skinny: Johnson rushed for four yards on just one carry in IMG’s 27-14 win over Oradell (N.J.) Bergen Catholic. Johnson has been limited early in the season after tearing his ACL last year.
