Michigan commits were back on the field this weekend.

With the high school football season underway, future Wolverines are doing their best to impress on Friday nights. Here is a quick look at how they performed.

QB Carter Smith, Fort Myers (Fla.) Bishop Verot

The Skinny: Smith completed 11-of-20 passes for 118 yards and added 69 yards and two touchdowns on the ground in Bishop Verot’s 49-28 loss to Sarasota (Fla.) Cardinal Mooney.

QB Brady Hart, Cocoa (Fla.) High (2026)

The Skinny: Hart completed 27-of-38 passes for 527 yards and four touchdowns with one interception in Cocoa’s 54-51 loss to Venice (Fla.) High.

RB Donovan Johnson, Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy

The Skinny: Johnson rushed for 70 yards in IMG Academy’s 49-6 blowout win over Jacksonville (Fla.) Mandarin.
