“To the city of St. Lous … Thank you for your continued love and support.
Continued Haskins: “As I embark on this journey towards playing in the NFL, I do so with great humility for all you have given me. Regardless of my new city and new team colors I don, I will forever be your son, your brother, your teammate and will forever wear the maize and blue as a Michigan Wolverine.”
In 2021, Haskins set Michigan’s program record with 20 rushing touchdowns, and totaled 1,327 yards on 270 carries. He racked up a whopping 825 yards after contact, according to Pro Football Focus (PFF), and picked up 103 first downs, which led all Power Five backs.
For his career, Haskins recorded 452 carries for 2,324 yards and 30 touchdowns. He was the Wolverines’ leading rusher for two straight seasons (2020 and 2021).
Haskins joins defensive end Aidan Hutchinson, outside linebacker David Ojabo, wide receiver Daylen Baldwin, defensive tackle Christopher Hinton and safety Daxton Hill as Michigan players to leave eligibility on the table and opt for the NFL.
