Michigan football continues its 2022 season on Saturday with a visit from the Hawai’i Warriors, who come to town at 0-2 and outscored 112-27 in their first two games. Vegas quickly installed the Wolverines as a 46.5-point favorite before the spread ballooned to 51.5 as of Friday morning.

To sum it up, this one is not expected to be competitive for long if at all.

Michigan is coming off of a 51-7 win over Colorado State in the season opener, headlined by 7 sacks and 11 tackles for loss from the defense. Hawai’i hosted Vanderbilt in Week 0 and took a 63-10 loss and lost 49-17 in Honolulu last week to Western Kentucky.

The biggest storyline of the week comes in the form of Michigan’s ever-perpetual quarterback battle. Sophomore J.J. McCarthy gets the nod after senior Cade McNamara’s turn in Week 1. McCarthy went 4-for-4 for 30 yards with 3 rushes for 50 yards and a rushing touchdown in 11 snaps in the opening game. Now he gets his turn to make a play for the starting gig with a strong showing against the Warriors.

Saturday night’s game will be broadcast via the Big Ten Network with Lisa Byington on play-by-play, former Michigan tight end Jake Butt on color commentary and Megan McKeown working the sideline. The game will also be streaming on BTN Plus and providers that carry BTN, such as YouTube TV, Hulu, DirecTV Stream and others. Doug Karsch and Jon Jansen will have the radio call on 950 AM in the Detroit/Ann Arbor area.
