Last minute details you need to know about 'Wolverine Weekend' dinner and golf outing
Michigan football players will make their way to Traverse City this weekend (June 9-11) as part of Grand Traverse Resort and Spa’s second-annual “Wolverine Weekend” event in northern Michigan.
Junior running back Donovan Edwards, junior linebacker Junior Colson, sophomore cornerback Will Johnson, sophomore tight end Colston Loveland and senior safety Makari Paige will be among the Michigan players in attendance, along with John U. Bacon and other Wolverine personalities throughout the weekend. The Wolverine will also be present for the event.
The event kicks off on Friday evening with a Woodson Whiskey and Wine tasting event, which features Charles Woodson’s signature whiskey and Intercept Wine. Tickets to the tasting event are $45 and it will take place in the Aerie Restaurant and Lounge.
From there, there are two ticket options that can be purchased using the link attached here.
There is a Golf and Dinner ticket available for $250 that includes a spot in the Wolverine Weekend meet and greet with players and seated dinner on Saturday, June 10 in addition to participation in the 4-person scramble golf outing on Sunday, June 11.
Those choosing just to participate in just the dinner can purchase a separate ticket ($150 for adults, $75 for children under 12) that will grant entrance to the Saturday meet and greet/dinner. There will be live entertainment during the dinner event, which takes place in the Governors’ Hall.

Ticket sales for the weekend event come to a close at 9 a.m. ET on Thursday, June 8.
The first annual ‘Wolverine Weekend’ last summer included appearances from quarterback J.J. McCarthy, wide receiver Ronnie Bell and offensive lineman Ryan Hayes.
“We got such a great response from it, we just knew it was a no-brainer to do it again and continue doing it every year when we can,” Grand Traverse public relations manager Caroline Rizzo told TheWolverine.com about the event.
