LOOK: Hip-hop artist Kodak Black decked out in Michigan gear at Detroit video shoot
Hip-hop sensation Kodak Black appeared in Detroit for a video shoot Wednesday afternoon, and the Florida native showed up in Michigan gear ‘from the boxers all the way to the socks.’ Looking right at home, Kodak spent the day as a walking maize and blue tribute.
Detroit rapper Icewear Vezzo was the other artist participating in this video project, recorded at O’Brien Park, and posted a rundown of the Wolverine-inspired outfit on his Instagram story.
The 25-year-old star known for records such as “Tunnel Vision” and “ZEZE” released his fourth studio album entitled Back For Everything in February. Notable producers including London on da Track, Murda Beatz, Scott Storch, Zaytoven and others were all involved. The tracklist also featured hit song “Super Gremlin,” which reached No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 and has nearly 200 million views on YouTube.
Kodak via Amazon Music (March 2022): “I’ve got undeniable talent, but sometime people will overlook that and be like, ‘man, you know what? he said this about this’ or just all kind of other stuff. Don’t hold his tongue. Wide open. Wildin’. I don’t understand how he be talking. […] Other certain little stuff why people may not feel like they want to really like me as a person… until they get to know me.”
Don’t forget we’ve seen Kodak in the locker room celebrating wins with John Harbaugh and the Baltimore Ravens before, so maybe keeping fandom in the family and joining Jim Harbaugh at Michigan is next on his list.
