Michigan adds commitment from Georgia RB Benjamin Hall
Michigan has added an intriguing prospect to its 2023 recruiting class.
Sleeper Kennesaw (Ga.) North Cobb running back Benjamin Hall committed to Michigan on Tuesday morning. He picked the Wolverines over offers from Boston College, Minnesota, NC State, Purdue, South Carolina, Virginia and a handful of others.
Hall picked up an offer from Michigan a couple of months ago and immediately fell in love with the program.
“I was just happy to get the offer,” he said. “Michigan is obviously a great program to be given opportunity to be part of. I think it means they just believe in my ability. And it also just gives me like perspective of how good I really am.”
Hall watched Michigan’s season from afar, but managed to take in a couple games throughout U-M’s Big Ten Championship run and had high praise for the way the Wolverines ran the football.
“They obviously they run ball really well,” he said . “But overall, Coach (Jim) Harbaugh does a great job building up their team from it’s been the past few years — just creating a winning program and also the way they’re developing life after football.”

Hall prides himself on being a complete back and hopes to show off his all-around ability in Ann Arbor.
“I can just do a little bit everything,” he said. “Every down back, just blocking, catching up the backfield, obviously running the ball.”
Hall rushed for 543 yards and eight touchdowns, averaging 5.7 yards per carry, as a junior last season.
At 6-foot, 225 pounds, Hall is not ranked at this time.
Michigan now has two running backs committed in the 2023 recruiting class. Hall joins Consensus four-star ball carrier Cole Cabana, who runs a 10.6 100 meters and is known as a speed demon. A power back, Hall should pair well with Cabana in the future.
Overall, Michigan has seven commits this cycle and ranks No. 7 nationally, per the On3 Consensus.
