Tweets Of The Day
Michigan has reached out to former UCLA quarterback Dante Moore, who will be a sophomore next season with three years of eligibility remaining. The Maize and Blue are a contender, according to On3’s Chad Simmons, along with Miami, Ohio State and Oregon.
“The former five-star signal caller has heard from dozens of teams over the past week, but a few contenders are starting to emerge, sources tell On3,” Simmons wrote Wednesday afternoon.
“Four schools are likely to get visits from Moore in the next few weeks: Michigan, Ohio State, Miami and Oregon. He is currently finishing up his finals in Westwood, but could take visits beginning as soon as this weekend. Nothing has been set yet though, a source close to the quarterback added.”
The University of Michigan tied its school record for its Graduation Success Rate (GSR) as the NCAA released Wednesday (Dec. 5) the 2023 annual GSR and Federal Graduation Rate (FGR) reports for all NCAA Division I institutions.
With a four-year average GSR of 96 percent, Michigan tied its all-time record high report, which was set last year. The 96 percent mark is 15 percentage points higher than it was in 2010 and one point higher than it was in 2021. U-M’s four-year rolling average FGR of 83 percent also tied an all-time high, set in 2022.
In addition, 15 of Michigan’s 25 varsity athletic programs included in the report earned perfect GSR scores.

Quote Of The Day
“I’m locked in. I’m supposed to be there the 27th for practices. It’s a little worrisome with everything going on. The timing is unfortunate. Do I stick with my commitment and take a risk? I’m willing to take the risk. I think Coach (Jim) Harbaugh is staying, but even if he doesn’t, I think they’ll hire Coach (Sherrone) Moore, and he’s doing a great job.”
